A ground-level access lid for your tank: one cost, easier service for the life of the system.
Turner Septic Services
Plenty of homeowners honestly do not know where their septic tank is, especially in a house they just bought. We can locate it for you, so that if an issue ever comes up, it can be reached and repaired quickly instead of after an afternoon of exploratory digging.
The first tool is a probing rod, which finds most tanks. For the harder ones, we request any septic plans your town office has on file for the property. And when neither of those settles it, we send a small transmitter called a sonde into the pipe from the house and trace its signal from the surface with a receiver wand, which leads straight to the tank.
Once the tank is found, it is worth thinking about a riser so it never has to be found again. The same visit can also tell you where the leach field runs, which matters before you plant, pave, park, or build anything over it.
